Lin Sen Inaugurated as Chairman of the National Government

On January 1, 1932, Lin Sen officially took office as the Chairman of the National Government. While military leaders like Chiang Kai-shek held the real power, Lin, as the head of state, played a more ceremonial and symbolic role, using his high prestige to stabilize public morale during critical periods such as the War of Resistance.
